How do the commission tiers work?+
Every partner starts at 20% (Partner). After 5 verified lifetime installs you move to 25% (Pro), and after 15 you reach 30% (Elite). Tiers are based on your all-time verified installs, they're permanent, and they never reset.
Why is the approval manual?+
The Shopify Theme Store doesn't pass any referral identifier on theme purchases. The only verifiable proof is the Shopify invoice, which we cross-check against our Theme Store sales data.
When do I get paid?+
Once a referral is approved as a confirmed conversion, it becomes payable. Payouts are triggered manually by Developpy via PayPal, in USD.
How long do I have to claim a referral?+
You must submit the referral within 30 days of the Shopify invoice date shown on the receipt. Submissions older than that are not eligible for commission.
What if my referral is rejected?+
We'll add a note explaining why. Most common reasons: receipt unreadable, duplicate, not matching our Theme Store records, or more than 30 days have passed since the theme purchase. A rejected referral doesn't count toward your tier.
Can I change my referral ID later?+
Your referral ID is set when you register and stays with you for the life of your account, so pick one you're happy with.
Do tiers ever expire or reset?+
No. Your tier is based on lifetime verified installs and is permanent. Once you reach a rate, it's yours.
